Dr. Valerie Hernandez is an orthodontist who loves living and practicing on the Westside. A San Diego native, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California (USC). Captivated by the city, she chose to continue her studies at USC’s dental school, where she graduated summa cum laude. Following graduation she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society.
Dr. Valerie continued on to study orthodontics at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. Orthodontics has been her passion from a young age and she enjoys working with patients of all ages. Dr. Valerie has a deep appreciation for the positive impact orthodontic treatment can have on her patient’s lives and their confidence. She is an American Board Certified Orthodontist, a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, and is an active committee member on the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. Dr. Valerie is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside of the office Dr. Valerie enjoys exercise classes, long walks, baking, reading fiction, and spending time with friends and family.
